This position is responsible for ensuring that our Wide Area Network and Local Area Network functions with a high-levl of reliability. As Network Administrator, this person must ensure that all users are properly registered and enforce the UPI Network security standards.

The Administrator is responsible for ensuring all software on the system has the appropriate licensing and inform the Network Manager about any new software purchases that are required. The Administrator may be called upon to perform some cabling functions and will be called upon by the Network Manager to provide expert opinions on networking when architecture changes are being discussed.

Within the capacity of PC Analyst, this person is responsible for trouble-shooting PC, Printer and related equipment problems as well as installing/maintaining all the required software. As PC Analyst, this position will require constant contact with the end-users.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years experience in detailed, hands-on systems administration with Server 2000, 2003, Active Directory and Exchange. Strong skills in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting server-class hardware is also required, as is a strong working knowledge of Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 desktop administration, maintenance and troubleshooting.
